What Are Transkei Cubensis Mushrooms?
Transkei Magic mushroom is a strain of magic mushrooms that originate from South Africa. They are a modern strain of trippy shrooms and they are very potent. Transkei Cubensis Mushrooms are sometimes also referred to as SATs, as in South African Transkei.
Transkei Cubensis mushrooms are medium-sized. Their caps start a bright orangey-yellow color that fades to a pale yellow and eventually white as they age. Their spores are deep purple color, creating a particularly beautiful white, gold, and purple pattern on their caps.
Magic Mushroom Family
Transkei Cubensis mushrooms are part of the Psilocybe Cubensis family. Psilocybe Cubensis’ main active compounds are psilocin and psilocybin, which give them their hallucinogenic effects. As a family, Psilocybe Cubensis mushrooms are extremely adaptable, allowing them to grow in a variety of climates and environments. However, because they are resilient, they are one of the more common and popular magic mushrooms to cultivate with at-home growing kits.
African Transkei Cubensis Mushroom Potency
Transkei Cubensis mushrooms have a higher level of potency than many of the other species within the Psilocybe Cubensis family. They’re especially potent, being that they are a more modern strain.
Transkei Magic Mushroom Effects
There are four main stages that you will go through when consuming magic mushrooms: ingestion, the onset of the trip, the trip and the comedown. How you ingest the shrooms and how large of a dose that you take will dictate the duration of each stage.
Like most species of magic mushrooms in the Psilocybe Cubensis family, the Transkei Cubensis gives a predominantly positive hallucinogenic experience. Some of the most common effects caused by magic mushrooms are enhanced mood, increased feelings of creativity, visual hallucinations, overall delight, and more. However, because the Transkei strain is more potent than typical strains of Psilocybe Cubensis, it is also characterized by its ability to foster particularly spectacular closed and open eye hallucinations.
These shrooms will also likely cause physiological effects that range from a change in blood pressure and heart rate to pupil dilation and increased sensitivity to light. It may also cause neutral effects such as distortion of time, altered perception of sound, and more. Psilocybin mushrooms may also cause potentially negative side effects such as nausea, dizziness, headaches, trouble focusing on cognitive tasks, inability to control motor functions, and more.
